What are the responsibilities and job description for the Java Developer position at Insight Global?
Job Description
Insight Global is looking to add 2 Java Developers to our client's team in the St. Louis, MO area. These individuals will be joining a team dedicated to the ordering operations for our client. They will be supporting a converge ordering project where out client is bundling their services and need to build out a new ordering system to do so. These developers will be working in a springboot framework supporting web API development. This will consist of new development and enhancements. Their work will consist of Web and REST API development and using Camunda to deploy workflows and automate decisions, and using Hibernate and JPA for the ORM library. Kafka is also used in this role and is helpful if the developer has any experience with it. This role is on site 4 days a week and 1 remote in St. Louis, MO.

5 years of java development experience
Experience with Springboot framework
Rest and webservices API development
Experience with Camunda
Strong communication skills-ability to own their own code and explain to stakeholders as needed Experience in an agile environment Experience Hibernate or JPA
