Position: Jr. Segment Risk Specialist
Location: Hybrid, Easton Office in Columbus, OH
Duration: 5–6-month contract
Compensation: 25-35/hr

MUST HAVES : LOVE A JUNIOR PERSON, OUT OF COLLEGE WITH INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE!!!
- Up to 3 years of risk-based experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent transferable experience through coursework, internships, or work experience.
- Business and technology aptitude with a willingness to learn and understand key processes within technology, cybersecurity, and data management.
- Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with a high level of detail in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present requirements/issues clearly and concisely.
- Ability to effectively work within a team environment and collaborate on projects.

Job Description:
- Ensure the timely and quality completion of all control testing requirements in accordance with organizational guidelines.
- Aids in the performance of risk and control self-assessments.
- Participate in the identification and analysis of risks.
- May assist in the development and execution of enterprise risk management programs.
- Develop, maintain, and continually enhance a proactive risk management program and related initiatives.
- Assist business and technology team knowledge to better understand processes and controls.
- Partners with technology Segment Risk Managers to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (business partners and technology teams).
- Assist the risk partners/business segment in the timely remediation of issues.
- Provide support for policy/controls and process documentation.
- Document and maintain internal team processes as needed.
- Contributes to teams’ continuous improvement culture by applying critical thinking skills and experiences to make suggestions.
- Aid in fostering a risk-awareness culture.
Salary : $25 - $35
