Must Haves:
- 3-5 years' experience configuring and administering EKS clusters in AWS.
- In depth experience in configuring Splunk SaaS in AWS environments, especially in EKS.
- Advanced knowledge of observability concepts and strong troubleshooting experience experience.
- Strong understanding of OpenTelemetry and configuration of OpenTelemetry Collectors (what is it) (huge plus to install and configure)
- Experience in implementing comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions in AWS using CloudWatch.
- 2 years of experience with Terraform, specifically creating terraform modules, code for modules, getting modules to PI review, integration tests, etc.
- Experience with Helm, specifically creating and using Helm charts, publishing Helm charts, CI/CD, using Helm charts and automating it
- Strong scripting skills in Python (preferred) and/or Shell (bash, any kind)
- Experience in collaborating with several cross functional teams to architect observability pipelines for various AWS services like EKS, SQS, etc.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems and architecture knowledge (Linux/UNIX and Windows operating systems, networking, storage) in a cloud computing or traditional IT infrastructure environment.
- Must have a good understanding of cloud concepts (Storage /compute/network).
- Experience with Git and GitHub.
- Experience with developing and maintaining technical documentation, ADRs, and runbooks.

- Installing OpenTelemetry in production environments

You will be an integral part of the design and development process, contributing to the creation of cutting-edge systems and application programs. As a senior member of our agile team, you will champion consistent development practices, including the use of advanced tools, common components, and thorough documentation. Your ability to identify and adopt innovative technologies will be crucial in keeping our solutions at the forefront of the industry. You will work closely with product owners to prioritize features for ongoing sprints, managing a list of technical requirements that reflect industry trends, emerging technologies, and known issues.
$56/hr to $63/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
