About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crew Chief - Land Surveyor to join our team at Insight Global. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on various land surveying projects and utilize your expertise in survey crew management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of surveyors to perform complex surveys
- Coordinating survey activities and ensuring timely completion of projects
- Collaborating with contractors, inspectors, and team leaders to ensure project success
- Managing and maintaining work-issued vehicles, laptops, and survey equipment
- Preparing accurate field notes and completing as-built drawings
- Assisting with new hire training, career planning, and professional development
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in a Survey Crew Chief role performing boundary, ALTA, Asbuilt, and Construction Staking surveys
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with Trimble equipment (preferred)
