What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lean SIX Sigma Training Specialist position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is looking for a Lean Six Sigma Training Specialist for one of our large manufacturing clients. This individual will be responsible for helping develop a Continuous Improvement program that will be rolled out to all employees. This includes designing, implementing, and managing the internal program, including : curriculum development, certification processes, and ongoing support. 25% travel will be expected. Other responsibilities include :
Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement (CI) team to facilitate kaizen events, ensuring active participation and effective outcomes.
Support CI implementation efforts by providing hands-on guidance, tools, and techniques to drive process improvements and achieve operational excellence.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as necessary to ensure continuous improvement in training delivery and participant outcomes.
Serve as a subject matter expert on Lean Six Sigma, providing expertise and support to teammates and leadership throughout the organization.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting the adoption of Lean and CI practices at all levels of the organization.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Experience in curriculum development and program management.
Proven track record in facilitating successful kaizen events.
Experience working in the steel or heavy manufacturing industry
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Lean Six Sigma training and facilitation.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
