Must Have : Minimum 2 years of X-Ray experience during surgeryCertified in Basic or Advanced Life SupportCurrent license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT)Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)Day to Day : A healthcare system in Houston, TX is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join their inpatient imaging team. This person will be responsible for performing radiography (x-ray) exams on patients ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures : preparing patients for exam, obtains and records patient’s vital signs, explains procedure, administers IV and contrast when necessary, positions patients for the exam, selects appropriate imaging techniques, and ensures technical quality of the images. This technologist will also be operating x-ray equipment during surgical procedures to provide real-time imaging guidance to surgeons.
