A client in the Processing Technology industry is seeking a Customer Account Representative. They are in Lenexa, KS, and this opportunity will require working onsite, five days a week. The CAR is ultimately responsible for the Customer "Journey" and acts as the primary contact for their assigned accounts. The CAR will serve as the driver within the team to ensure all customer requests are handled timely and effectively. This group is still in "start up" stages and the CAR team is not fully established, but this person has the opportunity to make a huge impact on the team and company overall. They will ultimately be responsible for making at least 10 unprovoked calls to clients a month (active or inactive). They will have an on call schedule split between five team members.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3 years of customer service experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Sage, or a similar CRM tool
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable working in a "start up" environment and on a team that is not fully established.
  • Technical aptitude and excellent verbal / written communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Comfortable on phone / willing to make a minimum of 10 proactive calls out to accounts.
  • Office admin / sales background
  • Ability to handle multiple task and priorities
  • Experience or interest in making unprovoked sales calls / cold calls
