Insight Global is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic in the Monroe Township, NJ area! Below is more information of what we're looking for in a candidate along with the day-to-day responsibilities in the role!
Must Haves:
- Experience as a Maintenance Mechanic
- Has their own tools
- Experience with blow molding machines or industrial manufacturing machinery
Plusses:
- Electrical Background
- Experience in a Plastics Manufacturing environment
Responsibilities:
- Performs repairs and preventive maintenance on all facility and production equipment with assistance.
- All work performed will be in accordance to GMP’s.
- Troubleshoots and corrects all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic malfunctions on production equipment.
- Set-up and assemble new equipment.
- Examines equipment to spot potential problems, leaks or malfunctions and reports them to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Assembles, installs and packs molds as assigned.
- Maintains machines, tools and work area in a clean and safe orderly manner.
- Must perform all duties within established safety guidelines and procedures.
- Makes basic repairs on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical functions with assistance and/or proper instructions as assigned.
- Replace and align conveyor belts.
- Replace motors and gearboxes on conveying equipment.
- Replaces and sets blades correctly in grinders.
- Replaces pump seals.
- Index head preventive maintenance, which consists of replacing bushings, bearings, worn locking and pins.
- Troubleshoot and replace blown electrical fuses.
- Must perform all duties within established safety guidelines and procedures.
- Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures.
***Compensation: up 32/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
Salary : $28 - $32
