What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at Insight Global?
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent
- 5 years of experience within manufacturing
- Leadership, management or supervisory experience
- Excellent communication, coaching and mentoring skills
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift and walk for periods of time
- General computer literacy
Preferred Requirements:
- Six Sigma Certification or training courses taken
- Associate's degree or technical degree
- Experience working with/around injection molding machines
Day to Day:
- Account for the safety of employees that you supervise, and ensure they are in accordance with safe work expectations
- Lead risk assessment and mitigation activities to implement preventative actions aimed at decreasing environmental, health and/or safety concerns
- Conduct any counseling, written warnings, or suspensions relating to violations of plant rules
- Track and direct all parts manufactured as needed for work orders
- Manage any housekeeping items of your assigned production area
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
