What are the responsibilities and job description for the MAINTENANCE WORKER position at Insight Global?
Under close supervision, the Maintenance Worker performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks with the maintenance of County roads and related infrastructures, drainage systems, pipeline systems, solid waste management facilities, wastewater systems, landscaped areas, and other related facilities.
Special Requirements
Physical Requirements : In some positions incumbents will be required to perform heavy manual labor which may include such tasks as digging ditches; lifting and carrying of materials including, but not limited to cement bags, sewer pipe, and sign posts; frequent walking and / or standing, carrying or throwing shovelfuls of paving material; working outdoors in all types of local weather conditions.
License Required : A valid California Driver's License, Class C or higher, is required prior to appointment to this class. Failure to maintain a valid License may constitute cause for termination from this class in accordance with Civil Service Rule 11.4. Individuals who do not meet this requirement due to physical disability will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Minimum Age : 18 years.
Compensation : $22.00 / hr to $26.00 / hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
