Project Details:
A Technology Service provider that supports the Secretary of State Office of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is sourcing for a manual QA Tester. Joining this team allows you to support legacy applications for News & Events, Records, Publications, Services and more for the state of Massachusetts. You will be responsible for maintenance of the many applications within the Secretary's department, along with being involved in implementations, modernizations and optimizations to futurize the applications.
To be successful in this position, you must be highly technical with testing applications in C#/.NET, be comfortable building QA practices, and testing concepts. You will be partnering with a team of another QA tester, a team of developers, an infrastructure team, database team, and more to ensure all requirements from the customer are met to fulfill the application needs. The first month, you will join in an orientation program to learn about the Secretary's office and the applications you will be supporting. You must be comfortable commuting onsite to downtown Boston every day of the orientation program. Following the first month, you will be required to be onsite 3 days per week.
