Job Overview
The Operations Plant Level Specialist is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the Kitchen and Bath Development Process. This includes developing fulfillment strategies, managing Plan for Every Part (PFEP), operations certification, cost reduction initiatives, capacity evaluations, supply chain integrity, costing, REA initiation, and process development.
- Fulfill all Operations Plant Level deliverables, including but not limited to:
- Developing PFEP and implementing cost reduction initiatives
- Ensuring operations certification and quality standards are met
- Managing supply chain integrity and inventory levels
- Driving manufacturing input into NPD projects through design reviews and feedback
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Time to Market Improvements by ensuring Quality and Performance Levels are met for New Product Launches
- Provide technical support for Make versus Buy analysis using cash cost modeling
- Develop plant project execution timelines and project plans in coordination with Ops Lead NPI personnel
- Accountable for achieving scheduled 'Inventory in Stock' date
- Liaise closely with production, manufacturing engineering, plant quality, supply chain, safety, NPD, NPI, purchasing, and marketing to maintain a network to support Production Strategies
- Present project status and escalations to multiple levels of operations leadership
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related field
- Manufacturing engineering, project management, and communication skills
- Project Management experience and ability to work with multiple departments within a manufacturing facility
- Understanding of process improvement methodologies in manufacturing (LEAN)
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
- Engineering degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- SAP experience, particularly Bill of material, exporting information, T-codes, and extracting data
- Ability to read blueprints and experience with Windchill design system
Compensation and Benefits
$36/hr to $43/hr, exact compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, vision insurance, HSA, FSA, DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
