Job Description:
This role is a 100% on-site position, and relocation assistance is available. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm.
The primary responsibilities include:
- Checking diagrams and designs in 2D AutoCAD for completeness and accuracy.
- Reviewing SPECs in 2D AutoCAD and ensuring drawings meet NAVSEA compliance and customer requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Experience with ShipConstructor or Navis software.
- 5-10 years of experience in 2D checking.
- Proficiency in working with 2D and 3D design in AutoCAD.
- Able to create 2D models of maritime piping systems from scratch using CAD software.
- Military ships or submersibles, or commercial ships industry experience.
