Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience to include Materials, Operations, Supply Chain or Advanced degree and 3 years of experience to include Materials, Operations or Supply Chain
- SAP Experience – Warehouse Management WM, Materials Management MM
- Experience with MS Office: Excel – Pivot tables, VLOOKUP's
Plusses:
- Defense Industry background
- Ability to Interpret technical documents
Day-to-day:
As the Materials SIOP Buyer, you will manage inventory levels, analyze variances, implement cost-saving measures, and ensure timely vendor deliveries. You will utilize MRP systems and data-driven decision making to forecast material availability. Daily collaboration with various functional areas is essential to meet organizational goals, customer deadlines, and financial targets. You will quickly develop credibility and influence to align execution plans effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the ordering of material details and buyer queue to meet specific engine sales order requirements
- Coordinate and expedite purchase orders and update material resource planning (MRP) in
- Monitor and communicate material shortage risks and mitigation opportunities
- Attend in-person daily production meetings to report on material and vendor status, address urgent issues and determine material availability analysis, tracking, and reporting updates
- Support ad hoc management and operations requests for information, analysis, and improvement opportunities
Salary : $35 - $45
