We are seeking a skilled Materials Procurement Specialist to join our team at Insight Global.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing work processes that integrate production requirements into materials plans.
Main Responsibilities
- Schedule raw and packaged materials by converting output from the Detailed Scheduler into daily and weekly material requirements.
- Evaluate availability of components to meet production needs, ensuring timely delivery to production lines.
- Collaborate with warehouse and plant teams to establish capacity and inventory targets through monthly material forecasts.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in buying or procuring materials, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Able to work onsite Monday to Friday.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with SAP systems.
- Background in manufacturing operations.
