What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Crew Lead position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Crew Lead to join a full-service Engineering Consulting company located in Plainville CT. The role is 100% on-site and the ideal candidate will be on-site 5 days a week. The majority of this person's time will be spent at a client site in East Hartford, CT. This person should have 5 years of experience in an industrial, commercial or municipal piping setting. The Mechanical Crew Lead will have a variety of duties including : leading a team of 2-3 junior level technicians, and hands on work with plastic pipes, metal pipes, pump repairs, tubing, secondary contained piping, and general plumbing.

- Journeyman experience
- Able to adhere to strict safety protocols
- Ability to work for aerospace clients without restrictions
- Proficient in installing both metal and plastic piping for all applications (compressed air / gases, water, etc)
- Experience with power tools
- Experience with fabrication
- Experience with air operated and electric pumps
