What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Drafter position at Insight Global?
A midstream oil & gas client in downtown Houston is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to join their team. This individual will be assisting the Lead Plant Designer with as-built projects and other duties as assigned. This person will be managing multiple redline requests, managing drawings within the company's document management system, completing as-built projects, completing field requests and assisting pulling drawings for projects, managing multiple 3D model sets, and completing other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of a Meridian Document Management System
- Civil 3D experience
- Knowledge of GIS
- 3-5 years of experience in plant / process piping
- Knowledge of P&ID symbols and terminology
- Associates degree OR related experience
- Experience using Windows operating systems
- Experience with CADWorx Plant Professional
- Experience with AutoCAD
