What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Engineer position at Insight Global?
The Mechanical Design CAD Operator will support CAD Designers by creating the working drawings for tactical shelters, including mechanical and electrical modifications supporting a contract with the US Airforce. They will be tasked with incorporating drawing changes, meeting CAD schedules and budgets, and reviewing drawings for completeness and accuracy.
Pay : $20-30 / hr
Location : Dallastown, PA (must be onsite)
Duration : Long term contract (12 months)
Must Haves
- 1-2 years of experience in 2D CAD with NX, Inventor (must have AutoDesk Inventor), or SolidWorks
- This can include school experience.
- Mechanical Background & have worked in assemblies with a high number of parts (missiles, airplanes, submarines, ships, etc.)

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
