Day–to–Day:
Insight Global is hiring for a Mechanical Pre-Construction Manager for a construction engineering company in Jacksonville. In this role, you will be responsible for putting conceptual bids together and designing pre-construction work, such as plumbing/HVAC/mechanical designs, once bids are awarded. You will be taking bids from data to capacity - organizing RFPs, visualizing bids with the engineers to price out designs and ultimately secure bid awards. Once awarded, you will be fully integrated with the various trades, coordinating and managing all electrical, structural, and architectural engineering groups to build 3D designs in AutoCAD and eventually give the designs to operations to handle. The salary for this position is $95k-115k, with a hybrid schedule in Jacksonville, FL.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (in any field)
- 5 years of experience in preconstruction mechanical design, in the commercial space
- Experience designing 1-2 projects in the DoD space
- Understanding of the mechanical systems within DoD
- Extensive knowledge of the mechanical landscape
Salary : $95,000 - $115,000
