Job Title: Radiology Technician

About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technician to join our inpatient imaging team at a leading healthcare system in Houston, TX.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing radiography (x-ray) exams on patients, ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures. This includes preparing patients for exam, obtaining and recording patient's vital signs, explaining procedure, administering IV and contrast when necessary, positioning patients for the exam, selecting appropriate imaging techniques, and ensuring technical quality of the images.
The technologist will also be operating x-ray equipment during surgical procedures to provide real-time imaging guidance to surgeons.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of X-Ray experience during surgery
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support
- Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT)
- Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
