Position : WAN Network Engineer
Location : Dearborn, MI
Pay Rate : $35-$45 / hr
12-month Contract
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience working as a network engineer WAN connectivity and SD-WAN experience
- Experience with and application of Cisco Platforms CAT9500, CAT9600 series, C8500 series, C8300 series, ASR1100 series, ASR1000 series, ISR 1100 series
- Experience conducting IOS test certification releases
- Understand BGP and QOS
Day-to-Day
Insight Global is looking for an experienced network engineer to join our clients global wide area network solutions team. They will be responsible for implanting, operating, and testing solutions for the global WAN. This team works in the lab before these solutions are released to the rest of the company. Once they create the standards those are released to the rest of the global teams. This company is currently in the process of moving from EPLs to DIA and their first project will be helping with this migration. This is a hands on role. In order to be successful in this role a candidate has to be an expert in routing and switching in a Cisco environment, have worked specifically in WAN, and understand mid to upper range router product line. This position is a hybrid role and the candidate must be able to work onsite in Dearborn, MI one day a week.
Salary : $35 - $45
