What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Security Engineer position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is looking for a Network Security Engineer to support the County of Orange network infrastructure. Responsibilities include provideing security services support for a large enterprise network of close to 140 sites, manageing major application and site move and build projects in coordination with the team and the project manager.. They will assist the Network Analyst with creation of security related reports, setting of network monitor thresholds and general oversight of the network health, respond to operational requests day to day and act as the second level of escalation for incident resolution. This individual will work closely with the Network Architect, review new technologies and standards and assist with the development of SOP's, runbooks, and other Operational resources for the security team. Lastly, they will report regular status of projects and operational issues to the SDM.
On-site required Monday and two other days a week.
