Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated Senior Software Test Engineer to join an innovative tech startup based in Santa Clara, CA that develops network and security solutions to their customers. This role requires working on-site five days a week to help develop and troubleshoot network and security protocols across a diverse feature set. In this role, you'll be part of a skilled team that ensures their high-quality products meet critical infrastructure needs. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
Responsibilities :
- Create and carry out test plans for Layer 2 protocols like DOT1X, EVPN, MSTP, RSTP, LACP, VRRP, multi chassis LAG, and virtual chassis.
- Develop and execute test plans for Layer 3 protocols such as IPV4, IPV6, OSPF, and BGP.
- Experience with CISCO ISE, Aruba Clearpass, and network devices from Arista, CISCO, and Juniper is highly preferred.
- Automate test cases using Python to test various software features.
- Design network setups for testing Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols using tools from IXIA and SPIRENT.
