An Oncology provider in Beaumont, TX is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible comprehensive management of patient care and administrative tasks within the Radiation Oncology and Gynecologic Oncology departments.
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday (no weekend, no overtime, no holidays)
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (from an Oncology, ER, or ICU background)
- Active Texas State Board (RN) License
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills

Day-to-day:
Responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, managing follow-ups, and coordinating weekly visits. The position requires handling all aspects of radiation therapy from intake, chart preparation, scheduling, and insurance authorization, utilizing systems like Aria, G2, and Athena. The role is detail-oriented, focusing on managing side effects, scheduling outside tests, and ensuring proper documentation throughout the treatment process. Additionally, the position involves assisting with dressing changes, port access for diagnostic procedures, and occasional IV administration. In the Gynecologic Oncology department, the role includes instrument setup, specimen handling, and managing biopsies and urine samples, with a high patient volume of up to 40 patients daily. The job also entails supporting the administration of radiopharmaceutical treatments, including patient documentation, and identifying suitable candidates, while ensuring safety protocols for exposure to radioactive materials.
