Required Skills & Experience

• 8 Years of experience with Oracle 19 (developing stored procedures, functions, and triggers in a big data environment)

• 8 Years of SQL & PL SQL development experience with Oracle DBMS and VPD Security

• 8 Years using TOAD, Unix Shell Scripting, Autosys

• 8 Years of Data Warehousing experience (including manipulation / transformation of millions of rows with optimal methods)

• 6 Years of Data Modeling experience (translating technical requirements to the business requirements)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• HR Data Domain & Finance Data Domain (RDR Finance Space) experience

• Experience in Agile Scrum, DevOps, SAFe or Disciplined Agile ways of working & CI/CD Release Processes

• Expert in data regulation and exercises best practices in data management and governance

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Oracle Developer to join one of our large financial clients hybrid in Kennesaw, Georgia. This individual will be joining the Enterprise Risk Finance & Technology organization and responsible for contributing to a Pay Transparency regulatory project. This individual will lead future delivery including developing complex ETL/models in data warehousing environments, involving technical design, development, testing and migration of Oracle objects. This individual must execute excellent communication skills and critical thinking to ensure all assumptions, constraints and behaviors are well thought through

Job Responsibilities:

-Participate in Status Meetings: Track project progress, resolve issues, mitigate risks, and escalate concerns promptly.

-Solution Delivery Management: Minimize technical debt and surpass design, engineering, and organizational practices. Ensure high coding quality and exceed security standards and change management requirements.

-Enterprise Data Standards: Develop and implement data quality and protection standards.

-Database Scalability and Performance: Oversee continuous improvement of database scalability and performance.

-Versioning Tools: Utilize versioning tools such as GIT/Bitbucket.

-Automation Setup: Set up jobs using Autosys for automation.

-Modern Application Development: Advocate and advance Agile solution delivery, automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.

-Data Analysis: Identify data anomalies and patterns in large data sets.
