What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Operator - Night Shift position at Insight Global?
A client of Insight Global is seeking a packaging operator to join their team. In this role they will be working within the packaging and repacking departments. In this role you could be loading machines that lift the product and pour it into the container, passing boxes through an x-ray machine for validation, or operating a machine that is opening cans for the product. You will also be responsible for filling out accurate documentation on weight, product checks, and more. There is room to grow within this company and this is a great way to get your foot in the door!
Work Schedule : 6pm - 2am, Monday to Friday (Possibility for Overtime)
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
Compensation : $19 to $24

Required Skills & Experience
A High School diploma (or GED) is required
A basic working knowledge of computers is required to perform necessary tasks such as finding and reading procedures (SOPs).
The ability to write legibly for documentation
Manufacturing experience (night shift would require machine operating experience)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Food Packaging / Clean Room experience
