Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a permanent role, working onsite three days a week: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The ideal candidate will be registered in the state of Washington, DC, and possess a strong commitment to patient care and oral health.
Schedule: 8 Hours on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth.
- Conduct oral health assessments and provide patient education on proper oral hygiene practices.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update dental charts.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Dental Hygienist registered in the state of Washington, DC.
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist.
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
