What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patent Paralegal position at Insight Global?
Review of Correspondence : Assist in evaluating Filing Receipts, Notices of Recordation of Assignment, and other incoming correspondence from the USPTO.
Patent Application Preparation : Support the review of patent applications, responses to office actions, and related documents prior to filing with the USPTO.
Form Preparation : Prepare and ensure the accuracy of USPTO forms for paralegal / attorney review.
Office Action Analysis : Review incoming Office Actions for relevant prior art and assist in the preparation of Information Disclosure Statements (IDS).
File Management : Help maintain organized electronic patent files and manage client correspondence effectively.
Attorney Communication : Communicate with attorneys to gather necessary information and provide regular status updates.
Targeting between $80-100K

Required Skills & Experience
A minimum of three years of U.S. patent prosecution experience at a law firm is required.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
