Day-to-Day :
Insight Global is in search of a Patient Scheduler for a Healthcare Client in the Fredericksburg, TX area. The ideal candidate would be responsible for managing the appointments and tests of patients in a timely and efficient manner. They answer incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate personnel, and serve as a liaison between the patient and the medical staff. They also handle the insurance authorization, co-pays, and coordinates financial counseling for the patients. They follow the policies and procedures of the clinic and the clients Compliance Program. They may also have additional duties related to outside scheduling, surgical scheduling, pre-operative testing, and post-operative follow-up. Having a basic understanding of medical terminology and coding for tests and procedures would be helpful for success in this role.
