Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator to join our healthcare team. This candidate will handle most clerical duties associated with a medical clinic. They will assist in scheduling new patient appointments, checking patients in, check patients out, assemble new patient and hospital follow up charts, and prepare patient charts. They can have upwards of 400 patients in their clinic each day so this person needs to be comfortable with a fast-paced environment!
Hours : M-F / 8-5
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations efficiently.
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries, providing accurate information regarding services and procedures.
- Maintain patient records with attention to detail, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with privacy regulations.
- Assist with insurance verification and processing, including understanding medical terminology related to billing.
- Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers to facilitate optimal care delivery.
- Support the office team with various administrative tasks as needed, including filing, data entry, and inventory management of office supplies.
- Ensure the office environment is organized and professional at all times.
