Planner

An employer is looking for a Planner to sit in Redmond, WA. This person will be researching, managing shortages, mitigating shortages, helping with transfers and coordinating with the floor. Goal would be to ensure they could level load orders to better manage labor planning. They wont do the labor planning but will coordinate with warehouse teams directly, helping with Kanban processes and directly taking things to the floor, utilizing Jira system to pre-emptively backfill kits to ensure they always have something in the pipeline. This role will be around 50% computer / spreadsheet based. There will be some ambiguity involved. They will be inspecting full kits of products that will be going to the floor for specific work orders. Quickly identifying what an assembly is based on labels / etc. Being able to work in an ambiguous environment as they are expecting a lot of change and a lot of change quickly, especially in the earlier stages. They could be working on a process and in 3 days completely pivot and change to something new so someone who is adaptable to change Degree is flexible if they have relevant exp that would work but education is always a preference to be elevated downstream Ultimately this role will coordinate actual materials being ordered by production teams, working with engineers, planners, warehouse to ensure a seamless flow from doc to flow, owning all and everything in between. Satellite piece on its own is exciting but opportunity for growth within this space as its a new team within a relatively new project that is rapidly growing to catch up with and hold onto production schedule needed to meet the needs / demands of satellites and launching them.

Experience with Excel and Data Analytics

Experience with Supply Chain, POs, SKUs, or an ERP system

Assist in data accuracy so all tools and processes function as expected.

Level load work orders to maintain productivity and meet demand.

Analyze inventory position and sku performance to determine inventory needs.

Execute on a variety of purchase order, in-stock, and vendor related systems and reports.

Delivery completed kits to production spaces to ensure seamless execution.
