Project Controls Analyst – Insight Global Evergreen Supporting PG&E
Location : Remote in Bay Area, occasional meeting in Oakland or San Ramon
Project Type : 12-Month Contract (Ongoing)
Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
Experience with P6 (Primavera) or similar software for project scheduling
Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements and management reports
Advanced Excel skills with focus on financial analysis and reporting
Proven ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
Superior written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting financial information to stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools
Previous experience at PG&E or similar utility companies
Background in utility industry financial operations
Experience with enterprise-scale reporting systems
Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements in the utility sector

We are seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to join our team at a leading utility company. This role focuses on financial analysis, scheduling and reporting to support enterprise-wide business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support business decision-making
Create, update and maintain P6 schedules
Support budget planning, forecasting, and month-end close processes
Prepare financial analyses and presentations for management review
Monitor and track project financials, including budgets, actuals, and forecasts
Develop and maintain financial controls and reporting procedures
Collaborate with business partners to understand financial requirements and deliver solutions
