What are the responsibilities and job description for the PROJECT SPECIALIST position at Insight Global?
This person will be joining our clients team, as a project specialist. They will be responsible for traveling around the greater Pittsburg area to go onsite at various clients for electronic security installation projects, as well as troubleshooting and service fixes. They will be going onsite to local commercial, healthcare, and higher education clients. They will meet with a project manager once they arrive onsite to understand what the issue is and be prepared to hands-on fix it! Most issues will be related to access control, door panels, CCTV, and video surveillance systems.

3-5 years of low voltage electrical system installation and maintenance experience.
o CCTV, access control, video surveillance, fire alarm, etc.
Needs programming experience - preferred : Software House, Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, AMAG, Milestone or ONSSI, AXIS, etc,
Service based industry experience (Electronic Security system or building automation is preferred)
Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing defective parts, and debugging system issues.
Extensive experience working with low voltage cabling or structured wiring.
GED or HS Diploma.
