What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Safety Officer position at Insight Global?
Monitor on-campus activity via patrol car or foot
Report violations of University rules, regulations and applicable criminal laws while performing duties
Escort various members of the university community who are on temporary disability through campus
Respond to any threats of emergency or violence
Work in tandem with the San Francisco Police Department when applicable
Assist in the process of Medical Transport if applicable
Create positive, collaborative, and professional relationships with the university community in order to create a safe atmosphere
Insight Global is looking for a Public Safety Officer for one of our clients in the higher education space. As a member of the Department of Public Safety you'll be responsible for creating an positive and secure atmosphere amongst the community members on campus through a variety of activities from monitoring on-campus activity to incident reporting to threat response. This is a full time position located in the Inner Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco onsite 3 to 4 times a week. We are looking for someone with a collaborative attitude that has a passion for being a guardian within the community.
