What are the responsibilities and job description for the Python Developer position at Insight Global?
An Aerospace company in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking a remote Python developer to join the streaming test analytics team. This individual will help facilitate the transition of existing centralized software framework towards mini-cluster based Kubernetes pod deployments. Additionally facilitate the development of web services to support customer's desire to actively control the analytics are currently deployed for them. Deliverables include :
- Modify existing code base to allow a REST API to control running analytics and query metadata about those analytics
- Integrate newly developed web services into organization's existing web application framework.
- Develop a web dashboard to allow for control of running analytics containers and management of analytic alerts
- Transition portions of existing codebase into service / microservice oriented architectures.
- Perform code reviews as needed for other software developers on the team
- Facilitate deployment of analytic containers as needed to support active engine tests.
- Additional standard development tasks for a team based remote software developer.
