Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Mobile QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both automation and manual testing, with experience in using tools such as Insomnia (or similar). This role will involve conducting comprehensive API testing throughout the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure the highest quality of our mobile applications. You will need to be able to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Pay Range: $40-45 / hr
Contract length: 6 months contract to hire
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
Required Skills & Experience
-Minimum of 4 years of experience in QA testing, with a preferred focus on mobile applications.
-Familiarity with programming languages such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit for test automation.
-Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, automation scripting.
-Strong manual testing skills
-Experience with full SDLC API testing - Including the use of tools like Insomnia, REST, SOAP, or Postman
-Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and version control systems (Git).
-Ability to develop and execute test cases for functional, regression, performance, and acceptance testing
