What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radio Frequency Engineer position at Insight Global?
Description : Insight Global is seeking 2 talented Radio Frequency Engineers to join one of their large Department of Defense clients at their Indianapolis, IN lab. These RF Engineers will join our client's Systems Engineering team to create, maintain, upgrade, and service RF capabilities for US Navy customers. Additional responsibilities include : developing system architecture, test & data analysis, systems installations, and systems upgrades. There can be up to 20% travel to on-site customer locations around the United States.
Requirements :
- At least 5-8 years of systems engineering experience
- Proficiency engineering radio frequency solutions including : electronic circuit design, antenna design, and radio frequency networks
- Familiarity with either Python, C, JavaScript for programming and scripting
- Bachelors Degree and / or Master's Degree in a STEM related field
Compensation : $50 / hour to $60 / hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
