About the Role
Insight Global Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to support a large hospital center in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will operate diagnostic equipment to produce high-quality computerized axial tomographic scan (CT) images of internal organs for use by professional personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares patients for scans, reviewing their medical history and positioning them on the scan table.
- Administers contrast media according to protocols and consults with Radiologists prior to administering I.V. contrast.
- Enters patient and exam data into x-ray computer systems and performs computed scan images.
- Cleans and maintains an aseptic working environment for each patient.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to explain procedures to patients, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
