Day to Day :

Insight Global is looking for a Rad Tech that can accurately position patients to produce high-quality radiographic images, working closely with radiologists and physicians to interpret these images for diagnosing or ruling out diseases or injuries. It includes the communication and documentation of patient images, maintaining effective communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel, and committing to personal growth and self-development. Additionally, the role requires demonstrating professional communication with peers and supervisors and showing flexibility during unexpected work-related events.

Duties

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and nuclear medicine as required.
• Ensure the proper operation of imaging equipment and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to minimize the risk of infection during procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic evaluations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and practices to enhance patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and standards within a Level I or Level II Trauma Center environment.
