- Prior experience Assisting with administration of Virtual/Desktop/Laptop Management servers and infrastructure applications including VDI, patch management, encryption technologies Anti-virus, incident/Request management
- Previous experience working in ServiceNow ticketing system or similar
- Proficient in backing users’ data, recovering data, and reimaging users’ devices both remotely and at users' desk.
- Able to work onsite at location M-F 8-5PST
- Strong customer service skills, white glove service

Job Description
An employer is hiring a Resident Technician to service their customers Users M-F 8AM-5PM EST onsite in Roanoke VA. This is a professional banking setting with a high touch user community. Requires great customer service skills and ability to Configure, install, and test hardware components and report on the installation status. Relocate equipment to different sites within the same building, campus, or metropolitan area. Manage hardware and software service-related issues for end-users to prevent escalation, working in the ServiceNow Ticketing System. Providing cross-divisional troubleshooting by updating and maintaining tickets. Reimaging PCs and transferring end-user data utilizing the COSMIC utility system. Installing and validating correct software versions on devices and confirm functionality. Utilize the WFDC Help Center utility to troubleshoot end-user machine functionality. Finally, documenting service events accurately in work orders and ticketing systems.
