Title: Revenue Analyst
Location: 11500 N Mopac Expy, Austin, TX 78759
4 days a week onsite - 8-5PM CST, M-F
Type: 12-month contract
Pay Rate: 40-50hr
Interview Process: 2 rounds
Day-to-Day:
- Serve as the primary contact and subject matter expert for revenue accounting within the Global Revenue team.
- Assess and document the revenue accounting treatment for significant sales transactions.
- Execute monthly journal entries for deferred revenue.
- Compile quarter-end reports on deferred revenue.
- Evaluate revenue recognition assumptions and summarize findings, recommending policy changes when necessary.
- Develop templates to streamline regional disclosure reporting.
- Provide prompt support for quarterly and annual external reviews and audits.
- Stay updated on accounting and reporting developments impacting revenue accounting and reporting.
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and meet multiple conflicting deadlines
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to research and apply technical accounting guidance
- 4-year degree in Finance or related area
- 2 years’ accounting experience
- Prior experience with ASC 606
Pluses
- CPA license or equivalent preferred
- Proficient user of MS Office software, including MS Excel
- Oracle and Tableau experience preferred
Salary : $40 - $50
