What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Specialist position at Insight Global?
Must Haves:
- 5 years of safety working experience at an industrial site.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and D.O.T.
- Must possess experience coordinating and conducting safety training and exercises for organizations, including the evaluation and design of course materials.
Day to day:
- Review, evaluate, and analyze work environments.
- Design programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by:
- Chemical agents
- Physical agents
- Biological agents
- Ergonomic factors
- Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of all safety policies/procedures in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procedures within the organization to effectively control accident and health exposures in the workplace.
- Perform each essential duty satisfactorily to successfully fulfill the job requirements.
- Requirements include representative knowledge, skill, and/or ability.

Pay: $65,000-$85,000
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
