JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is searching for a Security Field Engineer to support our client in Richmond VA. This individual will lead on-site projects for access control, CCTV, intrusion alarm, intercom, and other low voltage systems. Manage project planning, execution, and completion, including hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, commissioning, and closeout. Balances customer satisfaction with project financial results. Communicates with the Project Team throughout all project phases. Ensures warranty execution and compliance with legal requirements. Provides direction to the Project Team and adheres to safety standards and ethical practices.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 3 years of experience with installation and programming of enterprise level access control, CCTV intrusion, and intercom systems
• Proficient with Windows Operating System, Linux, and Microsoft's suite of Office software, and Bluebeam/Studio
• Ability to use hand and power tools and test equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, digital analyzers, battery analyzers, frequency meters, decibel meters and communication devices as required
