Job Overview
Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Microelectronics Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) machines to grow semiconductor materials on substrate wafers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare substrate wafers for material growth, ensuring cleanliness and proper handling.
- Monitor and control the MBE process parameters to achieve desired material properties and thicknesses.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of MBE equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop and optimize growth recipes for various semiconductor materials.
- Conduct quality control tests and inspections on grown materials to ensure they meet specified standards.
- Document process parameters, observations, and results accurately in logs and reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and techniques to improve material quality and production efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Familiar with wafer deposition.
- Experience with Molecular-Beam Epitaxy (MBE) machines / systems.
