Overview
A large gas and oil company located in Long Beach, CA is looking for a Senior Inventory Accountant. The Inventory Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of store inventory reporting including reviewing daily inventory reports, identifying variances, performing root cause analysis, recommending changes to inventory reporting process, executing adjustments and managing inventory data in the ERP system. The Inventory Accountant is responsible for identifying areas of opportunity. The Inventory Accountant also ensures the effective communication of system needs, reporting, process changes and variances to internal teams across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 3 or more years in full cycle accounting
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
- Ability to work onsite in Long Beach, CA
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
