Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client in Bronxville's team for $75k-$95k. This person will be joining the 4 person Finance team by working directly with the Director of Finance, and will assist in overseeing and managing all financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with industry regulations, and providing strategic insights to guide financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting for construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and GAAP.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Manage project costs and control systems.
- Review and analyze capitalization of costs.
- Ensure proper coding of construction invoices and maintain contract documents.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
Must-haves
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-8 years of professional experience as an Accountant
- Strong professional experience utilizing Excel and Office Suite
