Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Bedminster, NJ (5x weekly)
Target Salary: $125,000 - $150,000
Must-haves
- 8 years of accounting experience (3 public accounting and 5 federal government contract accounting).
- Strong user of Deltek Costpoint accounting software.
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, cost accounting and FAR-based contracting.
- Strong critical thinking with the ability to analyze financial data to identify and resolve accounting issues.
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
Plusses
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Day to Day:
The daily responsibilities include managing payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable cycles; creating and issuing project invoices; collaborating with project management and contracts administration teams; reconciling employee expense reports; assisting with month-end closings; producing internal financial statements; assisting in the compilation of the annual company budget through forecasting and financial analysis; supporting outside audits; and maintaining compliance with company accounting policies and procedures for all financial transactions. This role requires daily onsite presence in Bedminster, NJ.
