Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud HPC Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deploying and managing high-performance computing (HPC) clusters using AWS ParallelCluster and AWS Batch to support users with complex Multiphysics simulations.
You will work with teams leveraging computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software and transport solvers, including deterministic and Monte Carlo methods, to analyze varying geometry and material inputs. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS cloud services and HPC best practices to deliver scalable and reliable solutions for large-scale simulations.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
5-7 years of hands-on experience working with AWS HPC Infrastructure solutions, specifically AWS Batch and AWS ParallelCluster for large-scale simulations.
Extensive experience in deploying and managing AWS ParallelCluster environments, including configuration, automation, and optimization of HPC clusters.
Knowledge of Multiphysics computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software (e.g., ANSYS, StarCCM ) and their integration into cloud HPC infrastructure.
Experience with deterministic and Monte Carlo transport solvers for simulating complex systems with varying geometry and material properties.
Proficiency in parallel computing techniques (MPI, OpenMP) and job scheduling frameworks like SLURM or PBS for large-scale distributed simulations.
Experience with AWS Batch managing containerized workloads with HPC ParallelCluster for cloud-based simulation workflows.
Expertise in performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting of large-scale simulations in an HPC / cloud environment. Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, EBS, Lambda, and CloudFormation for HPC deployment and automation.
Knowledge of GPU-based computing and AI / ML frameworks for accelerating simulations.
AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified HPC).
Understanding of advanced storage solutions for big data analytics in a cloud environment, such as Amazon FSx or EFS. null
