Location: Hybrid Schedule in Nashville, TN
A company in the Nashville area is looking to add a Senior IT Auditor to their Audit Department. This IT Audit Senior will be responsible for assisting Audit Manager and Supervisors in conducting routine assessments of processes and controls in the IT Infrastructure at each of their locations. This position will be hybrid onsite in Nashville, but does require up to 25% travel (will be expensed) to these different locations.
Requirements:
- 2 years in IT Auditing
- Preferably previous work experience at a big 4, but other large organizations would be fine as well
- Bachelor's Degree in related field such as Computer Information Systems (CIS), Data Analytics, Management Information Systems (MIS), etc.
- Experience using control frameworks such as COBIT
- Experience with testing controls and performance of procedures in a complex and/or specialized area
- Hands on experience working in every area of auditing
- Workpaper development, performance of quality assurance reviews, documentation, etc
- Ability to travel 15-25%
- Must be a team player and willing to work in a collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- CISA, CIA, CISSP, CISM, or CPA certifications are preferred
- IT Audit experience within the Healthcare Industry
- Experience developing continuous audit routines
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Assists audit managers in assessing IT processes and controls, planning audit engagements, and conducting fieldwork through various methods like observation, interviews, and data analysis
- Documents business processes, audit observations, and recommendations, ensuring adequate evidence is compiled
- Demonstrates teamwork by cooperating with team members, sharing information, accepting feedback, and taking on additional assignments
- Continually increases knowledge in IT, auditing, accounting, business, healthcare, and company services through self-study and continuing education

- Application Reviews (Security and IT controls)
- Information Security Reviews
- Regulatory Compliance Assessments (HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley IT General Controls, HITECH)
