Senior Java / OpenShift Developer (OpenShift)
Chicago OR Charlotte – ONSITE
18 months to hire (could convert early)
Pay : $80 hourly
2 Interviews : Phone interview, then onsite for final
- Mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field with 7 years of experience in building large scape Java applications.
- Strong skills in design and developing robust RESTAPIs and Micro Services. Proficiency in Spring Boot.
- Hands on experience with OpenShift / Kubernetes, building complex infrastructure programmatically through automation and scripting.
- Experience migrating existing SOAP & REST Services to OpenShift.
- Exposure to service mesh, load balancers, DDI technologies
- Detail understanding of networking, security, and storage concepts when comes to containerized environments.
- Working experience in remediating application security vulnerabilities, CVEs.
- Skilled in using CI / CD tool set (JIRA / Bitbucket / Jenkins / Artifactory / Ansible)
- Proficiency in development in Unix / Linux environment
- Self-motived individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a highly visible and fast-paced environment where business needs / priorities may change.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
